The Sabrent EC-UEIS7 is much better than expected… especially, considering some of the reviews here. But if you do a little research, you’ll find it does have more positive reviews. So, I took a chance and it paid off. Its utilitarian design suggests a sturdy, solid, well made case. I concur – there is nothing flimsy about this enclosure. It’s matte black finish leaves no fingerprints. Dust and other markings are easily removed with a slightly damp cloth. The overall finish is very clean with smooth edges and everything fits together without gaps or warping. The black plastic stand holds the unit securely in an upright position. I leave the drive on for 12 hours, or more, every day, so any enclosure must include a built-in fan for cooling. I’ve used “fan less” enclosures before and my experience has been that both, the drive and the enclosure’s electronics quickly get too hot and begin to fail.

Thermaltake Meorb Low Profile CPU Cooler for HTPC Case with 4-Pin PWM Fan – CLP0527 Review
Excellent. The installation was a bit 'different, because you must remove the bracket to the conventional fan / install this low-profile heat sink unit. It 'been a bit' unexpected, but worth it. My box was too narrow for a conventional fan / heat sink, this was a life saver. It works great, is very quiet and keeps quiet CPU. I saw a little 'to find a good low profile heat sink and that was the best of the best. Great product at an attractive price.
